host SingleFigureGolfer Champions Final
Amateurs to battle
for title of SFG of the Year 2012
Single Figure Golfer (SFG) is delighted to announce that the final
of the 2012 Challenge Tour, sponsored by Srixon and Cleveland, is to
be hosted by the magnificent Leeds Golf Club in Yorkshire on October
The fifth annual SFG final sees a change in format from previous years with
a new 'winner takes all' final round to decide who will be
crowned SFG Champion for 2012.
Over 80 open golf events all over the UK will act as qualifiers for golfers
with a handicap of nine or below earn a place at the Champions final.
All who qualify for the SFG Champions final will receive superb prizes
donated by sponsors Srixon, Cleveland, Motocaddy, Bushnell, GEL,
Loudmouth, Druh Belts and Buckles.
Paul Mawman, Secretary of Leeds Golf Club, said: "We have long been
associated with holding The Leeds Cup, the oldest trophy in
professional golf. More recently we have been
proud to hold many other competitions for high calibre club golfers
including being one of the main qualifying
events for the SingleFigureGolfer Tour. I am therefore delighted that we
should be providing the venue for this year's SFG final and those qualifying
can rest assured the course will test all aspects of the players' skills, as
it has done for the past hundred years!"
